The Gilead Media Music Festival will return July 18th-20th, 2014. Once again in lovely downtown Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
The venue is still yet to be confirmed, but I’ve had some positive conversations with a prospective location that will understand the crowd, atmosphere, and music. We’re close.
I truly appreciate the email inquiries regarding open slots on the festival line up. I’m glad the event is appealing and something that people want their band to be a part of. That said, my thing about Gilead Fest is that I hand select every band that plays, and nearly all of them I already hold personal ties with. It keeps it positive and fun for me, the bands, and all the attendees. It’s a large reason why there was the unique “summer camp” type of environment so many spoke of in 2012, and it will help carry that aesthetic/vibe over into 2014. So on all accounts, I must respectfully decline all requests for bands to play. I have contacted every band I intend to have take part in Gilead Fest 2014. Unless you’re Neurosis and willing to play a tiny music fest in Wisconsin.

2014 FESTIVAL SPONSORS
I’m pleased to announce that EMPEROR Cabinets out of Chicago will be sponsoring Gilead Fest 2014! The backline for bands traveling without gear will be provided by Emperor, who make some of the most amazing cabinets in the industry. Check them out: http://emperorcabs.com/
Other sponsorship opportunities/vendor table availability will be announced soon, probably alongside ticket sales in Jan/Feb. All interested parties must be approved by me personally. There will be clear guidelines regarding what type of vendors will be allowed when I begin taking applications.
Talk soon, my friends. I sincerely can not wait to see you all again.
